A surgeon from Ghana who wanted to attend a medical conference in Spain applied for a Spanish visa but was denied. His response to the embassy was simply on point!

HIAN!! WETIN DEY FOR Spain wey they will be rejecting visas. half of their own nationals self dey yankee as illegal immigrants. These European countries are the worst for Visa self and nothing dey for them country. Even UK self, its not like there is any chance for an illegal immigrant these days. Even USA I wonder because no jobs for their citizens these hard times talk less of person who is illegal. Why would a surgeon leave Ghana to disgrace himself as an illegal immigrant? Some consular officers are just plain dumb or deliberately wicked.

Very good write up. Me and my family suffered the same fate like 4 years back when we applied twice for a Spanish Visa to attend our only sister's wedding and was denied twice.
My Mum who is a professor and have travelled the world exhausting over 4 passports wrote them a similar letter but I don't think she got a response.
It was painful, but in retrospect, I thank God cos me and my brothers planned to visit Camp Nou and Santiago Bernabeu. Who knows what would have happened. Considering a good number of them are racists and they have genuine and authentic terrorists operating in their country.
Thank God the weeding was Sharp and my sister is happily married with Twins.
They should keep their visa. I can always get a Multiple-in Multiple out Shengen Visa.
Oh trust me darling..it can and will change many things. It's a big blow on the Consular face. Watch as they offer this brilliant doctor an indefinite Schengen Visa.....

My sister was once refused a French visa, she insulted the interviewer and told her to hand her back her passport as she is not interested to visa her yeye country. They gave her 1year visa on a virgin passport with a rejected UK visa application. Lol!

Why will a surgeon leave a well-paid job for a country and be an illegal immigrant? The truth is, these people hardly screen document sent to their embassy. They just have a general form for rejecting people, which they will circle the grounds you are being rejected, stamped his/her passport and return. Pathetic useless mofos.
